Let me preempt this by saying we still have one lovely upcoming wedding on the fabulous Olympic Rooftop Pavilion in December (I personally cannot wait for this winter fete)….
However in the definition of working “every weekend from May through October” I can finally say-
Our wedding season has COME TO A CLOSE with last Sunday’s mid-day nuptials at Willows Lodge.
We worked with Melissa and Cameron for almost a full year! Now when I say that, it really means they booked us as their florist last October. We had several meetings and did a few minor and one major change (color! we went from corals and wine tones to monochromatic pinks and I must say Melissa I’m so glad you went with your instincts and what you really love!) before coming to a final conclusion. Also, Willows Lodge underwent a beautiful renovation so we made sure to keep those changes in mind when deciding on decor items.
The Bridesmaids carried all white bouquets of hydrangea, dahlias, and ranunculus with an accent of seeded eucalyptus
Cameron rocked his boutonniere of hot pink ranunculus and unopened dahlia bud!
The autumn inspired aisle consisted of white pumpkins & lanterns And a welcoming basket of Pashmina throws were placed at the end of the aisle to keep guests cosy during the ceremony.
We set two focal florals on wine barrels at the front of the aisle. We were lucky to capture this photo of the bride and groom in the garden during set up!
Lush centerpieces of hydrangea, garden roses, dahlias, eucalyptus, ivy and curly willow filled the tables.
And a sweet heart table of single buds and flower blooms awaited the happy couple.
Congratulations Melissa and Cameron!
Thank you for letting us be a part of your wonderful day!
