JOSH'S NOTES (Winemaker)

When we started this project, we really fell in love with trying to make Chardonnay like those of Chablis but obviously in our own version of the Walla Walla Valley lens. I think this new vintage may do that the best yet. Green apple, freshly cut pear, and hints of newly harvested hayfields. Lively, zesty acidity but with a subtle richness to keep the wine balanced, this comes from Kenny Hill and Flying B Vineyards – two sites known for later ripening, lower alcohol, and more natural acidity – perfect for Chardonnay.
