Be Thankful
When it comes to gift giving of course it goes without saying that flowers are my #1 choice!
If you are headed to dinner at a family member or friends house, it is customary to bring a gift of flowers, wine, or even a small dessert item.
In the flower world, I divide it into several categories
1.) fresh bouquet: a bundle of seasonal fresh cut flowers gathered together with raffia or rustic cording and wrapped in cellophane or brown craft paper, that when opened is easy to put into their own vase. This is a lovely gesture for the host, be it an acquaintance, new friend, or perhaps you are meeting your spouses extended family for the first time. (this option is available for pickup at our Fremont location)
2.) centerpiece: lush seasonal flowers arranged in a vase, small or large, it can be used on the dining table. Choose from a long and low, designed in a wooden rectangular box or glass rectangle vase. We will pick the freshest flowers of the season. Perfect for your own home or for your host.
3.) orchid plant: this is a long lasting gift and works for the host that you are just not sure what to give. We include watering instructions and, contrary to popular belief, are quite easy to care for. Great spaces for these plants are an entry table, kitchen island, bar top or dining room credenza.
